A historic building with a unique dining room inside in Desenzano del Garda
The Restaurant with Pizzeria Colomba is a typical Venetian restaurant and excellent pizzeria in Desenzano del Garda. The premises is located inside a historic building which dates back to the twelfth century.
Since the late nineteenth century, the building has been used for catering and hospitality, providing accommodation and tasty local dishes.
The Andreis family have been operating the Colomba restaurant since the 1920s, thanks to Giuseppe Andreis, then owner of the Hotel Miralago. In 1959 Giuseppe alongside Colomba Grandi, wife of Luigi Andreis (son of Giuseppe), opened the first pizzeria in Desenzano del Garda: the "Tre Corone".

From the historic bar to the traditional restaurant
The Restaurant with Pizzeria Colomba was founded in 1986 as a bar by Luigi and Colomba who decided, with the help of their son Carlo, to put to good use the experience of their other son Paolo.
Paolo has already made his name as a barman in Ubsm then Aibes and had won many national titles, ranking in first positions in various competitions and earning first place 13 times.

A successful restaurant
The transformation of the restaurant took place in 2004, when the desire to make the most of the splendid location in the wonderful and romantic "Portovecchio" met the talent, skill and experience of the chef.
Thus was born the Restaurant with Pizzeria Colomba in the heart of Desenzano del Garda, a place where you can have a unique culinary experience and enjoy new tastes and sensations that are truly unforgettable.
